Advanced band sectionals

Advanced Band - Sectionals begin!

Our advanced band students will meet once a week for small group sectionals. 

Sectionals are graded and will run from 3:45-4:30pm in the band hall. 

We will be able to help with pep music and competition music! 

Sectionals will begin August 31 and run through September & October. 

Careful planning has been done to work out athletic games and other school activities.

Monday      Sax, Double Reed, French Horn

Wednesday     Flute, Clarinet, Trumpet

Thursday     Trombone, Baritone, Tuba

 

**Percussion do not meet after school - they have their own class. 

Back to Band Bash - Mr. Gatti's

Our Back to Band Bash

is scheduled for this Thursday, August 27th

We will be hanging out at Mr. Gatti's from 5:30 - 7:00 PM

Our Frenship MS Tiger Band is getting started...it will be a great year! It's time to round up your instruments, supplies, binders and get ready to rock!

Goals for the week:

• build your binder by getting band books
• prepare your instrument
• get new reeds, brass berps, cleaning supplies
• turn in signed the handbook form (& parent volunteer form - optional)
• pay fees:
• band t-shirt ($10.00)
• instrument usage fee for school owned instruments ($100.00 yearly)
• connect with TECHNOLOGY

• update your CHARMS data base information
• HAVE FUN & PLAY YOUR INSTRUMENT!
